Project's description

"Europeanity” will involve 1200 students, and 70 teachers from six European countries (Cyprus,

Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway) in an effort to discover each other and build European

Identity.

The main aim of the project is to motivate students to get informed about their own culture and

the culture of the partner schools, as well as to discover the European origin. The objective is to

educate young european citizens on an enlarged and reformed Europe and foster inter-cultural

understanding, tolerance and sustainable development.

Several activities will be carried out in various fields (art, history, sports, traditions, gastronomy)

having in mind that the project will be a dynamic programme of creative activities for students,

that will be implemented during the lifetime of the project and the 5 project meetings. All

participating students will have direct contact with each other. The impact on all students will be

evaluated by questionnaires during and after the project.

The final products (calendar, recipe book, e-books history blogs, history maps, paintings,

surveys etc) and results will be disseminated in several ways (mass media, booklets,

presentations, press releases, WebPages, blogs, curriculum) and integrated into the regular
